Shakib will not play Test if called in IPL

Bangladesh will play ODI and T20 series against Afghanistan at home this month. After the series, the Tigers will fly to South Africa to play a two-Test and three-match ODI series. For the first time, Bangladesh will play in Centurion, Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth, the main venues of South Africa.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Cricket Operations Department Chairman Jalal Yunus told the media that Shakib will definitely play ODIs in South Africa. However, he has not yet informed the board about the Test match. However, the next schedule for the two-Test tour of Sri Lanka is from May 3 to May 25. Tiger all-rounder will be with the national team this time.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are going to South Africa to play the fourth Test series. The Muminuls last played Tests in the country in 2017.
