Bangladesh star pacer Ebadat Hossain has been shortlisted by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Ebadat Hossain has been named in the ICC’s shortlist for the month of January due to his excellent performance in the last tour of New Zealand.
However, to be the best of the month, Ebadat will have to leave behind two young South African cricketers, Dwivedi Bravis and Kegan Peterson, who have just won the Under-19 World Cup.
Ebadat became the fourth Bangladeshi cricketer to be shortlisted by the ICC’s Masera. Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Nasum Ahmed were on the list.
Ebadat Hossain has taken 9 wickets in a two-Test series against New Zealand in January. However, in the first Test, he took 6 wickets for 47 runs, which gave Bangladesh a taste of victory in New Zealand for the first time. He also got the award for the best match for his great performance. This time Ibadat is on the verge of getting another recognition from ICC.
