From today, government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices will have to run with half the manpower to control the epidemic.
The cabinet department issued the order on Sunday.
A notification issued by the Cabinet Division said that considering the coronavirus-related situation, restrictions were imposed on the overall activities and movement from Monday to February 8, subject to conditions.
The circular said that all government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices should be run with half the number of officers and employees following the hygiene rules.
Other officers and employees will be stationed at the workplace and will carry out official activities virtually (through e-documents, e-tendering, e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp and other means).
Earlier in the day, Health Minister Zahid Malek told a news conference that it had been decided to have an office with half the people so that there would be no suffering on public transport.
He said, “This time, due to the increase in Corona, 11-point restrictions have been imposed. Everyone must abide by it. We have to follow the rules to protect our family, our country and ourselves. “
