Heavy rain fell in several parts of the country including the capital yesterday. And the intensity of winter has increased in the rain, the temperature has decreased. Even today there may be light or drizzle in Khulna, Barisal and a couple of places in the Dhaka division. The meteorological department said that the weather is likely to continue for another day or two.
Meanwhile, the sky of the capital was cloudy since yesterday morning, the sun could not be seen till noon. In addition, light to moderate fog may fall across the country from midnight to morning. Daytime temperatures can drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
In this regard, meteorologist Bazlur Rashid said, this weather may remain for one or two more days. The temperature may drop slightly. There may be light to heavy rain in some areas. He said it was raining due to western light pressure.
According to the Meteorological Department, the increase in western light pressure is in West Bengal and adjoining areas. The normal light pressure of the season is located in the South Bay. According to the forecast, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, many places in the Dhaka division and some parts of Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chittagong divisions may receive showers with temporary gusts or thundershowers.
