4 kg ice recovered in Teknaf

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members recovered 4 kg of ice (crystal meth) from a beach in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.

The drugs were recovered from Jaliya Dwip area of ​​the upazila on Wednesday (January 19) morning. However, no one was arrested at the time.

Confirming the matter, Captain Lt. Colonel Sheikh Khalid Mohammad Iftekhar said a group of people raided the island of Jaliya in the Myanmar border area north of Teknaf after receiving a report of drug smuggling in the morning.

During the search, 4 kg of crystal meth was found inside a packet. These drugs have been kept at the BGB headquarters. The next time will be destroyed on the instructions of the authorities.
