No decision to close educational institutions for now: Education Minister

Although the outbreak of the new type of corona has increased, there is no decision to close the educational institution, said the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni.

He told reporters after the National Youth Career Carnival program at Krishibid Institute in the capital on Sunday.

Dipu Moni said, “First of all, we are holding regular meetings with the National Advisory Committee and monitoring the issues.” So far we have decided that we want to deal with the crisis by keeping our lives as normal as possible.

The Minister further said that the second issue is that we have not yet received the report of infection in our educational institutions especially at primary level, higher secondary level. Another thing is that our vaccination program is going on very vigorously. If the educational institution is closed, that program will come to a halt. All in all, we want to keep the educational institutions open for the time being. And if need be, the National Advisory Committee told us, then we will stop.
