Ice worth Tk 10 crore recovered in Cox’s Bazar

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members recovered 2 kg of crystal meth (ice) at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar. The recovered drugs cost 10 crore rupees.
This information was confirmed in a press release on Tuesday (January 11) morning by Teknaf 2 BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Colonel Sheikh Khalid Mohammad Iftekhar.

He said the operation was carried out on the basis of secret information. Sensing the presence of BGB, the drug dealer fled. The consignment was later recovered. The recovered drugs cost 10 crore rupees. It was not possible to detain anyone at that time. However, the battalion’s intelligence activities are underway to identify the drug dealers.
