Ashik arrested in Cox’s Bazar for raping schoolgirl

The main accused in the case filed in the case of rape of a schoolgirl in Cox’s Bazar for two days. Ashiq has been arrested. The RAB raided the Anwara area of ​​Chittagong around 11:30 pm on Monday and arrested him. This information was confirmed by Lieutenant Colonel Khairul Islam Sarkar, Commander of RAB-15 Cox’s Bazar Battalion. He said the accused would be handed over to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station.

The arrested Ashiq (28) is the son of Nazrul Islam of the North Nuniyachara area of ​​Cox’s Bazar town. The accused No. 4 in the case was raided in two areas of Cox’s Bazar city yesterday evening. Police arrested Mohammad Shaheen, manager of Moms Guest House, Kamrul, and the scene of the rape.

The victim’s father filed a case on December 16, naming five people and accusing four more anonymous people. According to the statement of the case, on the evening of December 13, the schoolgirl was forcibly taken away in a car by 4-5 youths including Ashik. She was later taken to Moms Guest House in front of the cultural center of the hotel-motel zone of the city and detained for two days before being raped.
