Bangladesh elect to bat in third T20I

Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah has won the toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan in the third and final T20I of the series in Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Monday.

The Tigers lost the first two matches Friday and Saturday at the same venue and will be keen to avoid a whitewash in the dead rubber.

Bangladesh has made three changes to the playing XI from the last match as Shamim Hossain, debutant Shahidul Islam and Nasum Ahmed replaced Saif Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shariful Islam.

Mustafizur is nursing a side strain, Shariful a groin injury while Saif has been dropped and sent to Chittagong to prepare for the first of two Test matches.
