RT-PCR laboratory has been started at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to test corona samples of expatriates and passengers at the earliest. Today, Sunday (September 26) morning, the activities started in the labs set up by six organizations.
At the initial stage, samples will be collected experimentally from 100 expatriates and sample test reports will be prepared through the equipment installed in the laboratory. Virologists from the concerned institutes have already arrived at the airport for the test.
The institutions are Stemz Healthcare (BD) Limited, CSBF Health Center, AMZ Hospital Limited, Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, Gulshan Clinic Limited and DMFR Molecular Lab and Diagnostic.

But the labs have been set up experimentally since this morning due to some observations by others, including the chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the chief executive officer of the airport, for smooth operation.
