Quad alliance will work for global welfare: Modi

The four-nation alliance quad meeting was held at midnight Bangladesh time in Washington, the USA on Friday. This is the first time that the heads of government of the four countries, including the Quad, have met.

Besides Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the meeting was also attended by US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.

The meeting discussed various current issues in the world. In addition to issues such as Covid-19 and climate change, the situation in Asia and terrorism were also discussed.
