Pakistan blamed India for canceling the Kiwis’ tour

Pakistan has blamed arch-rivals India for the recent cancellation of the New Zealand cricket team’s tour. The New Zealand cricket team canceled its tour of Pakistan just before the start of the first match of the series due to security concerns. After 18 years of touring Pakistan, the Kiwis returned to the country without fighting with bat and ball. The Pakistani government is directly blaming India for canceling the visit.

Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chowdhury has said that New Zealand has been forced to cancel the visit following death threats from India via e-mail.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has canceled the team’s tour of Pakistan after New Zealand. Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chowdhury thinks India is behind the cancellation of the Pakistan tour.

Despite Pakistan’s information minister’s claim, New Zealand authorities said the threatening e-mail came from Singapore. But Fawad refused to accept it.
