24 crore corona vaccine is in the lineup: Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister. AK Abdul Momen said, 24 crore corona vaccine is in the lineup. We hope to get the vaccine by March-April next year.

He made the remarks while addressing reporters at the Hotel La Meridiana on Wednesday (September 15).

“We need 26 crore vaccines,” he said. We are getting 24 crores, for now, we are happy with that. It will come in March-April next year. Since we will produce the vaccine locally, for now, we are happy with 24 crores. We hope to be able to get most of our people vaccinated. 

Asked if Russia has made progress on the vaccine, he said there is not much progress on the Russian vaccine. But we are working.

Despite not receiving a single dose of the coronavirus vaccine, Britain is offering asylum to citizens of other countries, while the foreign minister has lamented the red list for Bangladeshi nationals entering the country.
