Former Zimbabwe captain Brendon Taylor has announced his retirement from international cricket. The 34-year-old cricketer has played cricket for Zimbabwe for 18 years.
He will wear his national team jersey in the last match of his career against Ireland yesterday. He made his national team jersey debut in 2004.
Since his debut, he has established himself as one of Zimbabwe’s most reliable batsmen. Taylor played 204 ODIs until the last match of the series against Ireland. He scored 6677 runs at an average of 35.70.
