107 officers promoted as Warehouse Inspector in Fire & Civil Defense

107 station officers and equivalent officers of the Fire Service and Civil Defense Department have been promoted to the post of Warehouse Inspector. At a function held at the conference room of the fire service on Monday the Director General of the
department Brigadier General Md Sajjad Hossain announced it while he was speaking at the function as Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion of rank badge ceremony presided over by the Director (Administration and Finance) Mr Habibur
Rahman, the Director General congratulated the promoted persons and said, I hope that everyone will reward their promotion by fulfilling their increased responsibilities with honesty and transparency. ” Fire service jumps in for services as soon as they get a
fire accident call; He hoped that the promoters would try to implement this policy in every service of the fire service. He then accompanied the present directors and deputy directors and gave rank badges to the promoted ones. Speaking on the occasion, Director (Administration and Finance) of the Fire Service and Civil Defense Department, Joint Secretary Habibur Rahman expressed satisfaction over the decision. He said that in the past, he was promoted to this post in 17-
18 years; this is the first time that everyone has been promoted to this post after 5 years. He expressed his gratitude to the
Director General for arranging the promotion in the shortest possible time. Director (Training, Planning and Development) Lt Col SM Zulfiqar Rahman, Anwarul Islam also spoke at the event. Deputy
Directors of the department, principal of the training complex and other senior officials were present at the time.
