Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana inspected the progress of 54 under construction chemical godowns to be built at the cost of Tk 49 crore at Shyampur Kathaltali in Narayanganj on Saturday. During the inspection, the Industries Secretary directed to ensure quality of work keeping in view the safety of the godown and complete the construction work of unfinished road, boundary wall and godown in a timely manner. She directed to hold a quick meeting with the road department and the concerned department regarding the boundaries of the project and take steps to resolve the issue.
Afterwards, the Industries Secretary inspected the progress of sand filling work of 310 acres of land under the project titled 'BSCIC Chemical Industrial Park Munshiganj (1st Amendment)' in Munshiganj. The work of the project has to be
completed quickly with sincerity with responsibility in the interest of the country.

during the visit. At noon, the Industries Secretary visited BSCIC Benukhali Industrial Park at the
proposed site of 1400 acres at Benukhali in Dohar Upazila under the district of Dhaka and the proposed BSCIC Printing Industry Park at Sirajdikhan in Munshiganj. She was quick to take the Deputy Commissioner's objection to the
preparation of DPP of Benukhali project and printing industry: she directed the implementation of the ongoing project.
