Coast Guard nabbed 2 bandits & Rescued weapons in Tetulia

On Wednesday morning at 4:30 in the coastal zone of Bangladesh, the BCG personnel conducted a campaign in
Borhanuddani upazila’s Gangapur launch ghat area under Bhola district. Coast guard rescued weapons. Lt
Commander Amirul Haque confirmed the information during a media briefing at the Coast Guard headquarters in
Bangladesh on Wednesday morning.
According to him, the operation was carried out in the dormitory of the notorious robber Mohsin Bahini stationed in
the area on the basis of secret information. One of the two active robber members of the notorious bandit Mohsin
Bahini is Hasan (55) and Rakib (25). From them, Coast guard personnel rescued 3 pistols, 4 Ramadas, 5 domestic
da, 1 axe, 6 torch lights, 1 binocular, 3 mobile and weapons with various equipments and 2 locomotives used for
robbery were seized along with the boat.
At that moment, the notorious robber Mohsin and other members of the group fled after being spotted at the Coast
Guard. The two arrested robbers were identified as Jalu Radhi of West Jayanagar area under Daulatkhan upazila of
Bhola and son of Mohsin, a notorious robber.
He said that the transfer of arms and other items used in the robbery to Borhanuddin police station was in progress.
He further said that law enforcement, drug control, public awareness as well as curbing piracy and robbery in the
areas under the jurisdiction of the Coast Guard in Bangladesh have continued and will continue in the future.
