Awami League joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today made the demand to disclose BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s real birthday before the nation as there is no legal document to prove her birthday on August 15.
“Khaleda Zia had been started to observe her birth day on the
National Mourning Day with the advice of Inter-Services Intelligence
(ISI), a premier intelligence agency of Pakistan.
“Since 1996…so give up the falsehood and disclose the real
birthday before the nation,” he told a discussion marking 46th death
anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
here this morning.
Bangabandhu Krishibid Parishad of Sher-e Bangla Agriculture
University organized the function.
Nasim said August 15 is a Mourning Day for the nation…killers had
killed eighteen people including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the day.
The killers not only killed the Father of the Nation, but they had
also killed the dream, hope and aspirations of thousands of years,
Terming BNP-Jammat as the successor of the defeated force of 1971,
the ruling party leader said they had formed an alliance for building
the country like Pakistan. “The perpetrators, who didn’t accept
Bangladesh also ISI agent, would remain as a threat for us as long as
we could not eliminate them,” he added.
He also urged the people to be more conscious as a vested quarter
is trying to foil the communal harmony in different places in the
country. The BNP-Jammat had made the country champion in corruption,
he told the function.
