Dist AL inaugurates Oxygen Bank to serve the infected in Patuakhali

On occasion of the 91st birthday of Bangamata

On August 8, on the 91st birthday of Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nnesa Mujib, the Patuakhali District Awami League officially inaugurated Oxygen Bank program to serve the helpless people affected by the global epidemic Corona virus (Covid-19). District Awami League president veteran freedom fighter Kazi Alamgir inaugurated the progeam.
Member of Parliament Kazi Kaniz Sultana Helen, Deputy Commissioner Kamal Hossain, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shahidullah, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Mayor of the Municipality Mahiuddin Ahmed, President of the Press Club Swapan Banerjee spoke on the occasion and District Awami League general secretary Bir Muktijoddha VP Abdul Mannan conducted the function.
Besides, District Awami League vice-president and former upazila chairman Bir Muktijoddha Advocate Sultan Ahmed Mridha, Treasurer Gazi Hafizur Rahman Sabir, Freedom Fighter Affairs Secretary Taslim Sikder, Office Secretary Advocate Harun Ar Rashid, city Awami League president Shah Jalal Khan, district Krishak League president Gazi Ali Hossain, general secretary Sardar Sohrab Hossain, former general secretary Khandaker Shamsul Islam Babul and a large number of leaders and workers of the Awami League were present on the occasion. In the first phase, “Patuakhali District Awami League Oxygen Bank” started its activities to serve Corona patients by collecting 13 oxygen cylinders.
