Seven firefighting units are working to douse the flames
A massive fire has broken out at a factory of multinational industrial company Singer at Savar, on the outskirts of capital Dhaka.
Seven firefighting units are at the scene and working to douse the flames.
Confirming the development, Savar Fire Service’s Senior Station Officer Zahirul Islam said the fire started at the Singer factory, situated in the Tetuljhora area, around 8:30am on Thursday.
Fire Service officials said they were notified after smoke was seen billowing out of the factory.
